RBT Supervision System for BCBAs (2026)
An RBT supervision system that computes each month’s BACB compliance status automatically and keeps the paper trail an audit asks for.
What you get
- An Excel tracker that logs every supervision event and the RBT’s monthly service hours, then flags the specific gap
- A supervision contact note completed during the meeting
- An observation feedback form built for behavioral feedback
- A monthly compliance checklist
- A guide that compresses the requirements to one exact page
Who it is for
Anyone who supervises RBTs under the BACB requirements.
Why it exists
The BACB's RBT supervision rules are specific, monthly, and audited: at least 5 percent of service hours supervised, at least two face-to-face real-time contacts, at least one of them individual, and an observed client session every month, documented and kept for seven years. The consequence of substantial noncompliance is the credential itself. Most supervisors track all of this in their heads until an audit letter arrives.
This system replaces the heads. An Excel tracker logs every supervision event and the RBT's monthly service hours, then computes the month's status automatically: COMPLIANT, or the specific gap, below 5 percent, fewer than two contacts, no individual contact, no observed session. The editable forms carry the paper trail: a contact note completed during the meeting, an observation feedback form built for behavioral feedback rather than adjectives, and a monthly compliance checklist.
The guide compresses the requirements to one exact page, then covers the monthly rhythm that prevents drift: both contacts scheduled by the first Friday, the observation front-loaded so a client no-show costs a reschedule instead of the month, service hours logged weekly, notes written in the meeting.
Format
Excel tracker, editable Word forms, with a printable PDF set of the same, and a three page PDF guide. Duplicate the tracker per RBT.
